Fund a Friend
Every year, many community members ask us how they can help out our friends in need at QES.
Last year, QES Parent Society started a “Fund a Friend” campaign where the funds we accepted were used to support our friends in need at QES.
In the 2021/2022 school year, we raised over $2000, and those funds were used to buy fun lunches, school shirts, field trip fees, outdoor gear, grocery gift cards and more for families at QES that needed some extra help.
We are happy to announce we are running this campaign again this year, and are currently accepting donations by e-transfer. These donations are kept in a separate budget line in our General Account and are reported at School Council meetings for transparency.

Direct Donations
Many parents have asked us how they can contribute directly to buying equipment and supplies for students, such as, Phys Ed equipment, computers, iPads and iPods, other technology as well as software for said technology, music instruments, and much more.
This year we are accepting donations by e-transfer. The funds we accept will be used to directly support QES in purchasing supplies and activities for students and will be used within the school year.
These donations are kept in a separate budget line in our General Account and are reported at School Council meetings for transparency.
If you are not interested in participating in the fundraisers and would like to support this initiative, please consider a direct donation to our Parent Society.
