What’s Happening
The QES Bike Bus is a fun, supervised group ride that gets kids biking safely to Queen Elizabeth School together, wolfpack-style. It runs Thursdays this fall on September 10 until snow, from 8:10–8:25 AM, led by ride leader Jason. The route starts at Grand Trunk Park (departing 8:10 AM), heads to the “Baby” Playground (8:14 AM), down to Bowness Rd NW (8:16 AM), east along Bowness to 18 St NW (8:20–8:23 AM), then north to arrive at QES by 8:25 AM, about 15 minutes and 2.9 km total.
You don’t have to start at the beginning, join the Bike Bus wherever it’s convenient along the route, and it’ll pick you up as it rolls by! Just make sure your child’s bike is road-ready, their helmet and backpack fit properly, and they’re dressed for the weather. We ask parents to help kids be ready for group riding and to support our ride leaders so every trip stays safe, kind, and fun. Let’s ride again, Wolfpack!

Every child deserves to come to school ready to learn, with a warm jacket, food to fuel their day, and the chance to take part in field trips and activities alongside their classmates.
The QES Wolfpack Support Fund helps make that possible by supporting families in our school who could use a little extra help. If you have the means, please consider donating, every contribution ensures no child misses out.
Thanks to fundraised dollars, the QES School Council and Parent Society have been able to support our school in creating their vision of a new collaborative learning space in our lobby by purchasing some new furniture - keep watching for more additions!
